# HTF Volume Footprint

The HTF Volume Footprint is a tool that reveals the hidden buying and selling happening inside major trading sessions.

Instead of just showing basic price charts or standard volume bars, it breaks down exactly how much trading volume occurred at every price level.&#x20;

By color-coding the battle between buyers and sellers directly on your chart, it helps you instantly see where large traders are active, who is in control, and where the strongest support and resistance levels are located.

## Buyer vs. Seller Profile

* Total Volume (Blue): Shows the total amount of trading activity at each price. The largest bar automatically scales to a maximum width of 30 bars.
* Buy Volume Overlay (Green): Shows the exact amount of buying volume sitting on top of the total volume. This helps you instantly spot where buyers are aggressive or where sellers are trapped.

## Point of Control (POC Line)

Automatically marks the exact price level that had the absolute highest amount of trading volume with an orange line.&#x20;

This line starts perfectly from the edge of the largest volume bar and stretches out across your chart with no gaps.

## Value Area Bounds (VAH/VAL)

Uses dashed lines to frame the price zone where 70% (customizable) of all trading took place during that session. This shows you the boundaries of fair value.

## Session Summary Candle (Left Margin)

Draws a single Higher Timeframe candlestick on the side that tracks the session's overall price range, complete with clear percentage labels showing the exact breakdown of buyers versus sellers.

| Session Number Box               | Controls how many past historical sessions stay visible on your chart.                                                               |
| Color Boxes (Green & Blue)       | Let you customize the colors used for the buying volume and total volume bars.                                                       |
| Value Area %                     | Turns the Value Area lines on or off, and lets you choose what percentage of total volume (like 70%) to use for the fair value zone. |
| POC                              | Turns the orange Point of Control (highest volume level) line on or off.                                                             |
| HL                               | Turns the session High and Low boundary lines on or off.                                                                             |
